In-house data recovery lab

Mail-in recovery request

Send your device directly to the OmniData lab.

Start a mail-in case before shipping your drive, phone, RAID/NAS media, USB drive, or memory card. Your device is handled by OmniData's in-house North York lab, handled through OmniData's privacy-conscious in-house intake and recovery workflow.

Before shipping

  • Power the device off and stop recovery attempts.
  • Pack the device with padding in a sturdy box.
  • Include your name and phone number inside the package.
  • Ship all drives that belong to a RAID or NAS set.

How mail-in works

A simple intake path before the device ships.

01

Submit the form

Tell the lab what failed, what data matters most, and how to reach you.

02

Pack the device

Use padding and include your contact details inside the box so the case can be matched quickly.

03

Ship to the lab

Send the package to 61 Alness St W, Unit 208, North York, ON M3J 2H2.

Mail-in form

Tell us what you are sending.

This form creates the intake details for your mail-in recovery request. Do not ship a powered-on device, and do not continue running scans or recovery utilities before sending it.

Important

For RAID and NAS systems, send every drive from the set.

Include failed drives, replacement drives, and any drives removed during a rebuild. Missing disks can make reconstruction harder or impossible.
